Awana Family Night October 7

We’re kicking off a new year of Awana with Family Night!

Parents and clubbers are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 7 at 6:00pm for a family dinner, followed by Awana Club orientation.

Family Night is a great opportunity to experience what an Awana night looks like, meet your child’s group leaders, and learn how you can help your clubber get the most out of their Awana experience.

We’re excited for another great year of Awana and hope to see your whole family there!

Every Awana night is a new adventure!

Kids enjoy games, songs, time with friends, and engaging lessons from God’s Word as they learn and grow together.

The cost for the Awana year is $35 per student. This helps cover the cost of books, uniforms, snacks, and other program materials.

Payment can be made by cash or check, with checks payable to Oscoda Baptist Church.

*Don’t let the cost prevent your child from participating. Scholarships are available for families who may need assistance. Contact the church office for more information*

OBC Awana Clubs for 2022-23 will begin with a Parents Info Night, Wednesday, September 28th, at 6pm.

CUBBIES

It’s never too early to start learning about God and His great love for us! At OBC, we believe in building a strong foundation of faith from an early age, and Awana Cubbies is a wonderful place for preschoolers to begin.

Each week, Cubbies enjoy engaging Bible lessons, fun puppets, hands-on crafts, and learning Bible verses—all designed to help them discover God’s love and truth in a way that’s just right for their age.

SPARKS

The early elementary years are full of growth, discovery, and learning! In Awana Sparks, children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade explore the exciting stories of the Bible while discovering that God’s Word is true and meaningful for their lives today.

Through Bible lessons, Scripture memory, and time together, Sparks are encouraged to grow in their understanding of God and His great love for them.

TRUTH & TRAINING

As children enter their upper elementary years, they begin facing a whole new set of challenges—navigating friendships, standing up for what’s right, thinking for themselves, and discovering the kind of person they want to become.

In Awana T&T (Truth & Training), students are encouraged to build a strong foundation of faith as they prepare for the middle school years ahead. Through engaging Bible lessons, Scripture memory, and meaningful conversations, T&T helps kids understand God’s truth and discover how His grace changes our hearts, shapes the way we live, and impacts the way we treat those around us.

TREK

The middle school years bring new questions, challenges, and opportunities for students to grow in their faith. Awana Trek provides a place where students can wrestle with the important questions they’re beginning to ask about God, faith, and life.

By encouraging students to dig deeper into Scripture and seek answers for themselves, Trek helps them move toward making their faith their own—understanding what they believe, why they believe it, and how God’s truth applies to their everyday lives.
